Offers are out to Brad Pitt and Shia Labeouf to play the leads in the mystery/thriller "Riptide" says Pajiba.
The story involves a handyman, a young stock broker, and the latter's girlfriend. When one of the guys is found dead in the ocean, an investigator is called in to figure out what happened.
LaBeouf would be up for the broker, Pitt as the investigator.
