Stephen Sommers is set to call action on the sequel to G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra says The Wrap. "Zombieland" duo Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick wrote the script.
Star Channing Tatum is expected to reprise his role as Capt. Duke Hauser in the follow-up to the critically panned 2009 pic which still managed to make $300 million worldwide gross (Hey I liked the sucker!)
No word if any of the other cast members will also return. Sommers and Lorenzo di Bonaventura are likely to produce the as yet Untitled G.I. Joe Sequel.
