What a great way to start off the work week!!
Robert Rodriguez is "in active negotiations" to direct Deadpool, says The L.A. Times.
While at Comic-Con last weekend, Rodriguez said he had received Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick's (Zombieland) script but was undecided if he would direct.
Ryan Reynolds will reprise the wise-cracking mercenary Wade that he played in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine".
Rodriguez would likely do the project once he finishes "Spy Kids 4: Armageddon" which he's currently shooting. His next pic Machete hits theaters in the Fall.
If this pans out than I will even forgive RR for all of those delays that are happening with Sin City 2....
I'm actually giddy over the prospect
