Dustin Hoffman will be reprising his role of Bernie Focker for reshoots on the comedy sequel "Little Fockers" says Deadline. Hoffman was originally set to appear but was written out of the sequel when a deal couldn't be reached. Hoffman now has been convinced to return and they will pay him what he would have originally earned to appear in the entire film.
Hoffman will likely shoot a few scenes with Barbra Streisand, as well as a large scene towards the end of the film including all of the main characters. Scenes with star Ben Stiller and his on-screen children are also being reshot
Paul Weitz directs the film while Jay Roach and John Hamburg produce
Reshoots on the project begin next month, with the film's December 22nd release date still intact
