Jessica Alba is in negotiations to reunite with Robert Rodriguez for “Spy Kids 4: Armageddon: All the Time in the World” says Heat Vision.
The first three films in the series starred Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara as kids of superspy parents (Antonio Banderas and Carla Gugino).
This next flick will focus on a new family with Alba playing a retired spy turned housewife who has been reactivated.
She has a baby and two preteen stepchildren, who become the next generation of 'Spy Kids'. Alba's slightly nerdy investigative reporter husband character, and the film's villain named The Timekeeper, are not yet cast.
Banderas, Vega and Sabara are expected to have small supporting roles.
The under-$30 million 3D project starts filming in Austin, Texas next month with Rodriguez writing and directing.
