British actor Tom Sturridge ("Pirate Radio") has joined the cast of Walter Salles' adaptation of Jack Kerouac's notorious novel, On the Road reports Gossip Cop
The actor joins Sam Riley, Garrett Hedlund, Kirsten Dunst, Kristen Stewart, Viggo Mortensen and Amy Adams.
Jose Rivera adapted the script.
Francis Ford Coppola, Rebecca Yeldham, Nathanaël Karmitz and Charles Gillibert will produce.
Shooting for "On the Road" is currently underway in Montreal and will move to both New Mexico and later New Orleans.
