Alex Gonzalez ( “Milk”) has joined the cast of "“X-Men: First Class” reports Fotogramas (via CBM) .
González will play Riptide, aka Janos Quested, a mutant with the ability to spin his body at incredible speeds. He can also generate calcium growth in his bones which causes spikes to protrude from his skin. These abilities when combined together allow him to shoot his bone spikes at high enough speeds to punch through steel.
James McAvoy, Kevin Bacon, Caleb Landry Jones, Lucas Till, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Edi Gathegi, Jason Flemyng, January Jones, Zoë Kravitz, Bill Milner, Michael Fassbender and Oliver Platt co star.
Matthew Vaughn is directing the the comic book pic from a script by Jane Goldman and shooting is already underway.
Considering that González only has one major Amerocan fo;m to his credit FC is a pretty big deal--although he could get lost in the pic that alteady has a lot of mutants running around...
