Gravity Boot

Angelina Jolie has declined a second offer to co-star in Alfonso Cuaron's sci-fi epic "Gravity" says Deadline.

The story follows a male (Robert Downey Jr.) and female astronaut who are outside when debris from an exploded satellite threatens the rest of the crew. Downey's role however is said to be relatively small, with the female astronaut's struggle to get back to her child being the main focus and the lead actress on the screen by herself for quite a long stretch.

Jolie was attached to star in the female role but left just as the studio passed on the project.

Since then Warner Bros.picked it up...Several other actresses were tested or approached including Sandra Bullock, Natalie Portman, Naomi Watts and Scarlett Johansson.

Warners then made a second offer to Jolie, one said to be worth a considerable amount of money, but she has passed again. The studio is still intent on making the film which would kick off shooting next year once Downey wraps work on the Untitled Sherlock Holmes Sequel

Meanwhile--ScriptShadow posts a script review of the screenplay draft dated last November and says there's more action-packed suspense here than you might think
