Veteran actor/director Alan Alda has signed on for two comedies,"Wanderlust" and "Tower Heist", according to The Hollywood Reporter.The Judd Apatow-produced "Wanderlust" sees a couple (Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd) who try to escape society by joining a nudist colony.
Alda will play the leader of the commune.
David Wain directs from a script he co-wrote with Ken Marino.
'Heist' stars Ben Stiller as the stressed-out manager of a luxury apartment facility who helps a group of defrauded employees to rob a resident (Alda) currently under house arrest for swindling millions out of said employees
Alda will shoot "Wanderlust" first, then move immediately go for 'Heist'.
Both films open next year.
Good to see Alda is keeping busy
