--IImogen Poots and Felicity Jones have signed on to join the film adaptation of Sébastien Japrisot's novel "Trap for Cinderella" says The Hollywood Reporter. The story centers on a rich woman and a poor woman trapped together inside a beach house in a French resort gutted by fire.Only one of them survives, burnt beyond recognition and with total amnesia, resulting in all sorts of questions about her identity. Ed Westwick, Tamsin Egerton, Brooke Shields, Bill Bailey and Bill Nighy also star.

--Lionsgate will offer pre-sales for a "Silent Hill" sequel at the upcoming American Film Market reports Bloody Disgusting. Writer Roger Avary was put in charge of the new screenplay - a job put on hold as he served out a year-long prison sentence for a drunk driving accident. Released in August, Avary has finished the "Silent Hill 2" script.

--"The Assassination of Jesse James" star Brad Pitt and director Andrew Dominik will re-team for the comedy-toned crime caper "Cogan's Trade" says Heat Vision.Pitt would play Jackie Cogan, a professional enforcer investigating a heist taking place during a mob-run high stakes poker game. --Al Pacino, Eva Green and Susan Sarandon are attached to star in the financial thriller "Arbitrage" according to Variety.The story follows a hedge fund magnate desperate to sell off his trading empire to a major bank before his extensive fraud is revealed. An unexpected accident forces him to turn to the most unlikely corner for help.
