Justin Marks penned the story of a family taken hostage by fugitives. The father and lead captor engage in a battle of wits - the former trying to save his family, while the latter has nothing to lose.
It's a good thing Marks is writing this thing otherwise it would be easy to say that it rips off The Last House on the Left
The two leads are currently being cast
Lurie wants the pic to have a tone similar to "The Sugarland Express" and The Getaway."
Jamie Patricof Nicolas Chartier and Craig J. Flores will produce.
Meantime Straw Dogs will finally hit theaters on September 16th.
