Levine Is Living Legend

Jonathan Levine ("The Wackness," "All the Boys Love Mandy Lane") is set to direct "Legend", an adaptation of author Marie Lu upcoming young adult sci-fi book series of the same name says Heat Vision.

The tome is set in early 22nd century Los Angeles,when North America is split into two warring nations The story follows two Day and June, the former a Robin Hood type and the nation's most wanted criminal, the latter a teenage prodigy hired to hunt him down. The two are soon forced to work together when they come upon an impossible truth.

Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey are producing.

Levine is currently in post on the cancer-themed comedy 50/50 and will shoot this once he completes work on the zombie love story "Warm Bodies"
