David H. Steinberg will write the upcoming comedy Furry Friday for New Line Cinema. The film will feature a Freaky Friday-esque switch-a-roo between a dog and a cat according to Variety.
He just finished his first feature, the indie flick Miss Dial; he wrote the script for Puss in Boots, the upcoming Shrek spinoff focused on the sword-wielding cat voiced by Antonio Banderas. He’s currently attached to help with the writing of the Porky’s remake.
