Isabella Rossellini will star in Vincent Bal’s The Zigzag Kid, the story of a boy named Nono, the son of a police detective, who’s led astray by several characters while traveling between Haifa and Jerusalem.
Variety relays that this adaptation of David Grossman’s novel will feature Rossellini as Lola Ciperola, a shady singer who influences Nono’s transition into adulthood; Burghart Klaussner (The White Ribbon) will play another shady character, a thief named Felix Glick.
The main protagonist will be played by new talent Thomas Simon.
