Such Good Sport

Salt helmer Phillip Noyce has been confirmed to direct a remake of the iconic Jean-Claude Van Damme action flick Bloodsport  reports Screen Daily.

Robert Mark Kamen (Taken, The Transporter, Kiss of the Dragon) will write the script about an American who goes to Brazil to recover from the violence he has experienced in Afghanistan. He then gets involved in a martial arts contest.

Ed Pressman and Alberto Lensi are producing.

No word on when production will kick off.
