Cameron Diaz is in talks to star in the ensemble comedy What To Expect When You're Expecting says THR

An adaptation of the guidebook of the same name the film will interweave the lives of several couples as they prepare for parenthood

 Whip It writer Shauna Cross and Heather Hach (“Freaky Friday)” will adapt authors Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Mazel  bestseller into a screenplay.

Kirk Jones (“Nanny McPhee”) will call action on the film for producers Mike Medavoy, Arnie Messer, David Thwaites and Doug McKay.

The film should be in theaters next year
