Beatty Is Baaaaack

Warren Beatty has signed on to direct and star in an untitled comedy for Paramount Pictures says The Hollywood Reporter--13 years after last calling action on Bulworth in 1998

The new film is based on Beatty's own original screenplay, plot deets of which are as yet unknown.

Casting Is Underway

Paramount suit Brad Grey  says "Warren’s script is quintessential Beatty, elegantly written and wonderfully entertaining. It is our privilege to have one of the great artists in the history of the film industry come home to Paramount."

Shooting will kick off later this year.

Beatty directed 1978’s "Heaven Can Wait" and 1981’s "Reds" at the Mountain

Let's see Warren waited 13 years to direct again...It's been 11 some years since I called action anywhere....hmmm Ma--

Just kidding...

It will be interesting to see what Beatty has cooked up...
