Charice Hops On The "Broom"

Filipina singing sensation Charice has landed her first big film role in the upcoming comedy "Here Comes the Boom" says Zezbiz

The story of follows a high school teacher (Kevin James) whose school is facing drastic budget cuts. He decides to moonlight as a mixed martial arts fighter to win prize money.

She will play the character of Malia Dela Cruz, a musical brainiac student.

Salma Hayek and Henry Winkler also star.

James, Rock Reuben and Allan Loeb wrote the screenplay from which Frank Coraci directs

Todd Garner Aimee Keen and James are producing the in production comedy for a July 27th 2012 debut
