The story follows the middle-aged mother of an indie rocker who, after her son is killed in a car accident, seeks vengeance on an online blogger who had posted negative stuff about her son on the music site Pitchfork. Things take a turn, when she finds out he is just a teenager.
Susan Sarandon. is at the top of list for the mother role. Jonah Hill. who worked with the brothers on Cyrus, is eying for a reunion with them as the blogger.
