The Latest On The Dark Knight Rises

Some juicy Batman 3 happenings....Including a potential SPOILER.

Batman on Film reports Wollaton Hall the 16th-century mansion-turned natural history museum in Nottingham, will double as the exterior of the rebuilt Wayne Manor in The Dark Knight Rises”.

The location will closed for a two-week period at the end of this month, “in order to enable a film to have exclusive access to the site.”

Exteriors and interiors for the Wayne Manor seen in "Batman Begins" were shot at Mentmore Towers in Buckinghamshire, the same place used in such films as "Eyes Wide Shut," and "The Mummy Returns" among others.

Rothschild is currently being redeveloped as a hotel and golf course which most likely made it unsuitable for use again.

Showbiz Spy reports that Anne Hathaway had a wardrobe malfunction while in her Catwoman costume....This follows the stuntman injury she caused the other day

It seems “Anne was filming a very similar fight scene when her costume split right open right on her bottom,” reveals an insider. She’s putting everything into this role both physically and emotionally and the wardrobe department is paying the price. She must have gone through a dozen costume changes due to Anne throwing herself around.”

Ummm....Sorry I got distracted by certain wandering thoughts....

Moving on to A MAJOR SPOILER/RUMOR concerning a fight between Batman (Christian Bale) and Bane (Tom Hardy)

STOP READING RIGHT NOW.... IF YOU DON'T WANNA KNOW!!!

Comic Book Movie  indicates that the storyline follows in part the famous Batman: Knightfall Saga in which Bane breaks Batman’s back. The incident leaves Gotham without it's hero until Bruce Wayne recovers from his injuries and takes the city back by recruiting another Bat....

Here's What CBM's Source Says:

Bruce Wayne/Batman & Bane will certainly clash hard in The Dark Knight Rises and I can tell you this much, during their first fight against one-another will , Bane WILL break Batman’s back!).

Obviously having Bats outta commission for most of the sequel---If the rumor is true--is a risk--But after two films I have faith that director Christopher Nolan's got the skills to pull this off for one hell of a trilogy capper...

END SPOILERS>>>>

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Matthew Modine Tom Conti Joey King Josh Pence, Alon Aboutboul and Nestor Carbonell star along with return of the trilogy's ensemble cast such as Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine who told BBC radio that he starts filming his scenes as Alfred on the pic next week.

Daniel Sunjata, Diego Klattenhoff and Burn Gorman take on secondary roles

Nolan calls action on the DKR from a screenplay he wrote with bro Jonathan Nolan, from a story by Nolan and David S. Goyer

Production is underway and the sequel is set to hit theaters on July 20th, 2012
