After Christian Bale wraps work on Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises where might he go next?
While he has been linked to The Last Photograph for a long time--He is seemingly not involved now and is moving on.
Variety says the star has plenty of options:
Spike Lee's Hollywood remake of Chan-wook Park's 2003 cult classic "Old Boy" as the villian.
There's chatter that he may act opposite opposite Beyonce in the remake of A Star Is Born for Clint Eastwood.
Michael Mann’s treasure-hunt thriller Gold and Darren Aronofsky wants Bale to play the title role in his "Noah" biblical epic...Not to mention Scott Cooper's Out of the Furnace aka The Low Dweller are also on his radar.
If it were my decision to make Bale would hop to Oldboy right quick....If I leave my geek behind then working with either Eastwood or his 2009 Public Enemies helmer Mann
Christian Bale starring opposite Beyonce makes me cringe. He's so much better than that!
ReplyDeleteOldboy could be interesting. I was initially against it being remade, but Bale could make it work.
