Cooper Changes The Playbook?

Bradley Cooper is in talks to replace Mark Wahlberg in  David O. Russell's The Silver Linings Playbook says Deadline.



The pic adapts author Matthew Quick's 2008 book of the same name

The story follows a delusional former high school history teacher who's just been released into the custody of his mom. Believing that he’s only been away for a few months instead of the four years he just spent in a mental institution, the teacher sets about wooing back his ex-wife. but becomes involved with an eccentric neighbor (Jennifer Lawrence) with problems of her own.

Wahberg leaves the project due to a scheduling conflict with Albert HughesBroken City--after Playbook's start got pushed back to accomodate Jen's work on The Hunger Games

Meantime Cooper's Limitless co-star Robert De Niro is also in talks to join the film.

Production begins this fall
