Dark Tower: Brick By Brick

Ron Howard's adaptation of Stephen King's "The Dark Tower" may be rebuilt at another studio following Universal Pictures decision to nix the film/TV project last month says New York Post's Page Six


Producer Brian Grazer told the paper that the ambitious endeavor will have to be put off until at least next year, but that director Howard is “trying to get outside financing to make it, and distribute it through a major [studio].”

Howard is moving on to the racing biopic drama "Rush" in the meantime Star Javier Bardem remains seemingly attached to play Gunslinger Roland Deschain

The planned adaptation was to include three movies and a spin-off TV series. Grazer said they still have plans to go ahead with the TV spin-off via TV networks or even via Netflix.  Stay Tuned...
