Wolverine Flick Delayed
Production on the comic book sequel "The Wolverine" has been pushed back by several months with filming now expected to begin in Spring 2012, not this Fall as previously thought informs Deadline
The script--written by Christopher McQuarrie which is set mostly in Japan--is based on the great mini-series by Frank Miller and Chris Claremont. It will find our hero (Hugh Jackman) going toe to toe with the Silver Samurai
The weather-related issues makes shooting in Japan a tenuous move. The location might switch to Canada exclusively or involve a combination of the two countries.
Naturi Naughton was signed last month to appear in the film
James Mangold is still attached to direct the pic which should begin shooting as soon as Jackman finishes Tom Hooper's (The King's Speech) adaptation of "Les Misérables".
