21-year-old Hemsworth will be the youngest cast member in the sequel. He will portray a sniper.
Taylor Lautner passed on appearing in the film probably in that same role.
Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger will indeed have larger roles for sure Mickey Rourke and Jason Statham are due to return too
The film's star and writer Sylvester Stallone also recently said that Chuck Norris and JCVD are locked while Nicolas Cage and John Travolta could be showing up as well
The likes of Donnie Yen, Christian Slater, Christopher Lambert have all been mentioned to join the sequel
Con Air's Simon West, will be replacing Stallone as director while Sly acts in the sequel. Plot deets are scarce but claims are that Willis and JCVD are the bad guys this time 'round which seems likely now given Sly's mention of a JCVD showdown
Stallone and his team heads to Bulgaria at the end of this month to start shooting.
