The comedy sees Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones play a married couple who try and rekindle their relationship by seeking therapy from an unorthodox guru (Steve Carell).
Rappaport will play the married couple's son
David Frankel will direct the film from a screenplay by Vanessa Taylor.
Guymon Casady and Todd Black are producing,
No production date yet but a late 2012 release is planned.
