Kodjoe played Luther West in the previous entry "Resident Evil: Afterlife".
The actor also says the return of actor Salmon, whose character died in the first "Resident Evil " film is being kept top secret as it's "intrinsic to the plot".
Production starts in Oct with writer/director Paul W.S. Anderson in charge for a September 14th 2012 release date. Franchise star Milla Jovovich is back as well.
