Clarence Fillmore Slim is a blues singer and guitarist who was also a well-known pimp in San Francisco during the 60's and 70's. The story spans Slim’s emergence as a musician, to his years of incarceration and eventual redemption.
Hawthorne James is set to direct the biopic from a script by Alan Ames and Carole Parker.
Ames and Wayne Anderson will produce.
Production is due to kick off in March
