Some Scars Never Go Away

Universal Pictures is preparing yet another film take on "Scarface", though it's not being labelled either a remake or a sequel says Heat Vision.

The 1932 film produced by Howard Hughes and directed by Howard Hawks and Richard Rosson followed Tony Camonte (Paul Muni), an Italian immigrant who rises through the Chicago criminal underworld.

Brian De Palma's 1983 version penned by and Oliver Stone followed Tony Montana (Al Pacino), a Cuban immigrant and his brutal rise to power through the Miami cocaine trade.

The studio is now seeking writers, and we are not sure what direction the new pic will go

Marc Shmuger and Martin Bregman, who worked on the Pacino film are attached as producers.

Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is so freakin' rediculous!
