Directed by Jee-woon Kim--who is making his English language debut--the film follows a sheriff in a small town (Arnold Schwarzenegger), who is the last one standing up against a Mexican drug cartel, which has escaped from a courtroom.
Stormare is in talks to play Burrell, a seasoned war veteran who carries out the villain's orders and leads a crew of men to take down Arnie and his fellow officers.
Andrew Knauer wrote the spec script which Jeffrey Nachmanoff and George Nolfi polished.

The new film is set to hit theaters on January 18th, 2013 although it isn't known when production would start.
