In the film, Julianne Moore will play a popular high school English teacher whose personal life pales in comparison to the energy she brings to her teaching. When a promising former pupil (Angarano) returns home after failing as a playwright in New York, she suggests her high school perform his unproduced play.
Greg Kinnear co-stars as does Nathan Lane who plays a drama tutor whom Moore turns to for help in crafting a stronger play
Dan Chariton and Stacy Chariton wrote the script from which Craig Zisk's making his feature directorial debut.
Naomi Despres, Robert Salerno Matthew E. Chausse and Ben LeClair are set to produce the indie comedy.
Angarano has built his career on films like this--makes a good fit here as well.
