Walker Spends "Hours" With Heisserer

Paul Walker has signed on to star in the indie drama "Hours" reports Deadline.

Set in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Walker would play a father trying to keep his newborn daughter alive in a New Orleans hospital.

A Nightmare on Elm Street and Final Destination 5 scribe Eric Heisserer will direct from his own original screenplay

Peter Safran will produce the pic which has a March film start planned.
