Studio Already Thinking Sequel For Man Of Steel

Comic Book Movie says the studio suits are happy enough with the footage they've seen so far featuring Henry Cavill on the Vancouver set of Zack Snyder's big budget reboot Superman: Man of Steel that they've quietly begun early development on a sequel.

Industry scribes Steve Kloves, Travis Beacham ('Clash of the Titans'), and Lawrence Kasdan ('Raiders of the Lost Ark') are reportedly on the list to potentially pen the script.

The site stresses however this is pure RUMOR for now.

Early indeed but Cavill seems to have won the suits over--now he just have to convince the rest of the planet. He proved he has quite a presence in Immortals... We shall see.

MOS co-stars Michael Shannon Amy Adams Kevin Costner Diane Lane Antje Traue Christopher Meloni Harry Lennix Laurence Fishburne Russell Crowe and Ayelet Zurer.

David S. Goyer wrote the first screenplay draft based on a story he concocted with Christopher Nolan with bro Jonah Nolan taking a crack at the task as well Kurt Johnstad did rewrites

Charles Roven, Emma Thomas Deborah Snyder, and Nolan will be producers on the film.

MOS flies into theaters June 14th 2013.
