Bartkowiak Goes Beneath The Deep

Andrzej Bartkowiak ("Doom," "Romeo Must Die," "Exit Wounds") will call action on the action adventure "Beneath the Deep" says Variety.

The story follows a group of tourists in search of an underwater adventure in the Caribbean. When natural forces strand them in a vacation spot from hell, they must contend with unexpected visitors that view them as intruders and a threat to their own survival.

Armand Speca wrote the script and will produce the film with Richard Rionda Del Castro.

Production kicks off in March in Puerto Rico.
