The story follows an executive whose boyfriend leaves her for an older woman. She then searches out the woman to find out what went wrong in the relationship.
"Gilmore Girls" creator Amy Sherman-Palladino wrote the screenplay from an idea by Ron Bass and Jen Smolka.
Julie Yorn is producing the film.
Reese Witherspoon was previously circling the project, but the actress is no longer attached.
