Isabelle Fuhrman Visits AfterEarth

"Orphan" actress Isabelle Fuhrman is in negotiations to join the sci-fi action adventure "After Earth" according to Heat Vision.

In the film once called "One Thousand A.E." Will Smith and Jaden Smith are set to star as a father and son who crash-land on Earth a millennia after mankind has abandoned the planet. The crash leaves the elder Smith badly injured, and it's up to the boy to find help in what is now a strange and dangerous place.

Fuhrman is up for the role of Rayna, the younger Smith’s best pal.

Zoë Kravitz will play Smith’s daughter, while  Sophie Okonedo ("The Slap") will portray his wife.

M. Night Shyamalan will helm and wrote a draft of the script as did Gary Whitta and Stephen Gaghan.

Shyamalan James Lassiter, Jada Pinkett Smith and Ken Stovitz will all produce the picture.

Production kicks off in March using locations in Pennsylvania and Utah.
