Quale Takes On A Cat 6

Steve Quale ("Final Destination 5") is in final negotiations to direct the found-footage flick "Category Six" according to Variety.

The script by John Swetnam, follows a group of high-school students documenting the progression of an enormous, tornado-spawning windstorm.

Todd Garner will produce the film.

Quale is best known as James Cameron's visual effects supervisor and second unit director on "Avatar" and "Titanic".

The film will most likely be shot in 3-D for a 2013 bow
