The story centers on aging baseball scout (Clint Eastwood), coping with blindness, who goes on a road trip to Atlanta with his adult daughter (Amy Adams) to evaluate a player.
Matthew Lillard will play a fellow baseball scout.
Randy Brown wrote the script
Robert Lorenz, a regular second unit director for Eastwood, will get to boss him around in the big chair.
Production is due to begin in early March.
A release date of September 28th is now set
