Kruger Pens Two Scripts Including Matterhorn Movie

Hollywood writer Ehren Kruger ("Transformers: Dark of the Moon," "Scream 3") is linked to both the as yet untitled pic that is loosely based on the Disneyland Matterhorn ride and "Invertigo" says Heat Vision.

Brian Beletic will call action on the untitled mountain explorers flick which Kruger will re-write from an earlier draft by Jason Dean Hall. The story centers on five young adventure seekers -- an action sports guy, travel guide, cartographer, archeologist and escape artist. The group venture into the Alps and soon encounter Yeti that guard a secret.

Justin Springer is producing the picture.

Story details on "Invertigo" are not known yet but Kruger co-wrote the script with Brad Camp and will executive produce the project which Sony Pictures bought.
