2 Of Hannah's Novels Get Big Screen Chance

A film adapyation author Kristin Hannah's latest novel "Home Front" is on the way says Deadline.

The story follows a Blackhawk helicopter pilot in a crumbling marriage who is forced to leave her husband and children for a tour of duty in Iraq.

Chris Columbus is attached to direct.

At the same time an adaptation is underway on Hannah’s earlier novel "The Things We Do for Love", the story of a disillusioned and childless divorcee who forms a bond with a pregnant and recently homeless teen.

Abigail Breslin may play the teen.
