Set against the backdrop of a 911 call center, Berry plays an emergency operator who must face her own fears in order to save a teenage girl from a disturbed killer.
Brad Anderson ("The Machinist," "Transsiberian") calls action on the film from a script by Rich D'Ovidio.
Berry was linked to the project back when Joel Schumacher was attached to direct, dropped out due to scheduling issues, and then came back onboard after production was delayed.
Robert Stein, Jeff Graup and Michael Helfant will produce the movie.
Production kicks off in June in Los Angeles.
