Firth, Feig Are Untouchable

Colin Firth is in early talks to star in "Untouchable", an English-language remake of French box office hit "The Intouchables" says Variety.

Based on a true story, this follows a wealthy aristocrat who suffers a tragic accident that leaves him a quadriplegic. He goes through several caretakers before bonding with a young, troubled caregiver, and the seemingly mismatched duo end up learning a lot from each other.

"Bridesmaids" director Paul Feig is in early negotiations as well to write the adapted script and direct from  Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache's dramedy The original pic will get a U.S. limited release in late May.

Nicolas Duval-Adassovsky will produce the new version.

Production hopes to begin in the Fall.
