Howard & Duke Join "A.C.O.D."

Ken Howard and Clark Duke have joined the cast of Stuart Zicherman's indie comedy "A.C.O.D." (Adult Children of Divorce) says Variety.



In the film Adam Scott stars as a grown man named Carter still dealing with the ramifications of his parents' divorce who must do what he can to bring the family together when his younger brother decides to get married.

Howard will play Scott's amicable stepfather who becomes embroiled in the family drama. Duke will play Scott's younger brother, whose wedding announcement brings his bitterly divorced parents back into each other's lives.

Jane Lynch will play a down on her luck author and therapist who jumps at the chance to regain the spotlight when her former patient Carter shows up seeking her advice. Richard Jenkins is gonna play the father, whose uncompromising lifestyle and complete disdain for his ex-wife threatens to destroy the wedding. Mary Elizabeth Winstead will play the long-time girlfriend of Scott. Amy Poehler will play the new wife of Carter's father and enemy of his mother (Catherine O'Hara) Jessica Alba also stars

Ben Karlin wrote the screenplay with Zicherman who makes his directorial debut here

Karlin Tim Perell and Teddy Schwarzman will produce the film.

Production is now underway in Atlanta
