Tom & Huck All Grown Up In New Film

Paramount Pictures has picked up Andy Burg's spec script "Huck", a film that's said to be a re-imagining of Mark Twain's characters Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn says Heat Vision.

The new film is said to be akin to Universal's Snow White and the Huntsman out this Summer. The story will focus on mischievous teenagers Sawyer and Finn as adults--adding supernatural elements into the mix.

No word if this version will stick to the 19th century period setting of the story or shift the action to more contemporary times.

Peter Chernin, Dylan Clark and Matt Lopez are producing the film.
