Constantin Keen On "Iron Trial"

Constantin Film picked up the film rights to "The Iron Trial", the first book in a new young adult fantasy novel series from acclaimed authors Cassandra Clare ("The Mortal Instruments") and Holly Black ("The Spiderwick Chronicles") says The Hollywood Reporter.

The series follows 12-year-old Callum Hunt, who "has grown up knowing three rules by heart: Never trust a magician, never pass a test a magician gives you, and never let a magician take you to the Magisterium. Callum is about to break all the rules. And when he does, his life will change in ways he can’t possibly imagine.”

Robert Kulzer is producing the film

Clare and Black will write the adapted screenplay and will serve as executive producers.

Constantin is bringing Clare's "Mortal" series to the big screen as well.
