The pic follows a man (Colin Farrell) who infiltrates a crime syndicate responsible for the death of his family.
Noomi Rapace plays a mysterious, scarred beauty with intimate knowledge of his past. Dominic Cooper plays a family man who works as Farrell's partner on the street.
Niels Arden Oplev, helmer of the original Swedish-language "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" which launched Rapace with international stardom, will direct using a script by J.H. Wyman.
Neal Moritz will produce the film.
Filming kicks off this month in Philadelphia.
