Meyer & Godfrey Go "Down A Dark Hall"

"Twilight Series" author Stephenie Meyer's production company has optioned the film rights for fellow author Lois Duncan's 1974 young adult suspense novel "Down a Dark Hall" says Variety.

The story is set around the haunted and tragic past of Blackwood boarding school and its mysterious students as one newcomer must unravel the mystery.

The Twilight film series producer Wyck Godfrey is in talks to perform that function here as well.

Duncan's works "Hotel for Dogs" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer" have been adapted for the big screen.
