Disney Shuffles Prime Release Dates

Just as Alan F. Horn steps into his new role as chairman of  Disney from departed suit Rich Ross--The company has shuffled the release dates of some of its big tentpoles says THR

The most notable is Steven Spielberg's "Robopocalypse", which hasn't begun production yet, the film has been pushed back almost a full year - from July 3rd 2013 to April 25th 2014.

With that slot free, Disney has moved its adaptation of "The Lone Ranger" into the July 3rd 2013 release from its original May 2013 release date scheduled.

There's also a minor move for Thor 2 which will now open November 8th 2013, a week earlier than previously announced.
