Kick Ass Stars Sign For Sequel

While no sequel option was in place, and there was talk at least one of them was gonna bail it seems all four key stars from the original Kick-Ass will return for the upcoming Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall  says Deadline.

Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse are reportedly about done closing deals to reprise their roles, with Nicolas Cage in talks to return for a cameo (he hasn't yet received an offer).

"Never Back Down" director Jeff Wadlow wrote a script and will direct the pic.

The first first film's director Matthew Vaughn will produce here--his commitments to X-Men: First Class 2 are preventing him from calling action.

Production is hoped to begin by the fall.
