Acord Revs Up For "Racing Dreams"

Cinematographer Lance Acord ("Being John Malkovich," "Lost in Translation") is in talks to make his feature film directorial debut on "Racing Dreams" reports Variety.

The story follows three young racers as they compete in the World Karting Association's National Pavement Series. The trio chase the National Championship title on their dream to become NASCAR racers.

The film will be a narrative feature version of Marshall Curry's 2009 documentary of the same name.
